Living | The open plan living space provides a contemporary setting for relaxing in this beautiful old barn. Double-height windows bring in light all year round and give excellent views of the garden and private meadow. There is also an easy-to-use Swedish log-burning stove for cooler evenings and under-floor heating throughout the ground floor provides warmth in all seasons. Both this and radiators on the first floor are fuelled by a ground heat source pump (see ethos for more information).
Hidden in a cupboard is a flat screen TV (with Freeview) and a DVD player. A CD player and iPod docking station are also provided, along with wireless broadband.

The utility room contains a combined washer/dryer and ample room for coats, shoes and wellies. There is also a downstairs toilet.

Eating | The modern kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and utensils. It is also stocked with essentials such as olive oil, butter, semi-skimmed milk, tea, coffee, etc (a full list is available upon booking).

Sleeping | The master bedroom has a king size bed and an en suite shower room with under-floor heating, toilet and washbasin. This bedroom is also connected, via a glass walkway, to the main bathroom which has a double-ended bath.

The second bedroom has flexible space which can be arranged to suit your needs: one double bed plus a single bed. This bedroom has direct access to a luxury bathroom with under-floor heating and a double-ended bath.

A single sofa bed in the living room provides additional sleeping for one if needed. 100% cotton linen is provided along with feather duvets, pillows and towels.

Outside | There are two enclosed gardens, one at the front and one at the back, which are accessed via French doors from the living room. Both lead into a large wildflower meadow for your exclusive use with wide, mown paths, seating and a children’s play area. There is a terrace just outside the French doors with a partial canopy, which provides shelter from sun and rain. Chairs, tables, and a barbecue are all provided. There is parking at the side of the house for two or three cars.
